Supplier & Vendor Vetting

Know who you are appointing before you sign.

An unvetted supplier is your risk, not theirs. If they are not registered, not tax compliant, or not licensed for the work they are doing, the exposure lands on your contract, your tender score and your name.

We check them properly and tell you plainly what we found.

The checks

What we check

Registration, tax, empowerment and the industry licence that actually applies to the work they are doing.

CIPC status and director verification

Is the company registered, is it in good standing, and are the directors who you were told they are.

Tax compliance status verification

Their tax compliance standing confirmed, not taken on the strength of a screenshot.

B-BBEE and COIDA good standing

Their empowerment position and COIDA standing, which is what your own tender score depends on.

Industry checks

PSIRA for security, bargaining council standing, NHBRC for construction — the licence that fits the work.

Director cross-references

Directors cross-referenced across companies, and adverse findings surfaced.

Vetting questions

How long does a vetting take?

It depends on which checks are needed and how quickly the official registers respond. We confirm the timeline when we quote.

Do we need the supplier’s permission?

We work from public and official registers. Where a check needs the supplier’s consent or a document from them, we tell you upfront.

Can you vet a supplier we already use?

Yes, and those are often the higher risk, because nobody has looked since the day they were onboarded.

Is this a credit check?

No. We check compliance and registration standing. For credit exposure, speak to a credit bureau.
